Rock wool (or stone wool) is a high-density, inorganic, fibrous insulation material manufactured by melting natural volcanic rock—typically basalt or diabase—and spun into fibers. It provides superior fire resistance (up to 1000°C), exceptional thermal insulation, and excellent acoustic dampening for walls, ceilings, and industrial applications.
