Rigid Board Insulation
Rigid board insulation is a high-performance, lightweight panel made from foam plastics (EPS, XPS, Polyiso) or fibrous materials (fiberglass, mineral wool). It provides superior thermal resistance (R-value), reduces thermal bridging, and acts as a moisture barrier. Used on walls, roofs, and foundations, it increases energy efficiency and durability. High Thermal Efficiency provide excellent insulating value, reducing heat conduction through studs and structural elements. Rigid Board types are Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) is Good in R-value, lower cost, breathable, Extruded Polystyrene (XPS) is higher compressive strength and moisture resistance and Polyisocyanurate (PIR/Polyiso) is higher R-value per inch, often foil-faced.
